One of my boating clients decided to use a Honda he already owned instead of installing a new generator in a boat he had built for him. The only use was to charge the battery when he anchored out several days on end. Last Iheard the system was working perfectly. The boat was 42 foot custom built aluminum boat.

Recently purchased a Honda Generator-Inverter. Will be writing more about it shortly. it works well

Yes the Yamaha and the Kipor models seem to get a lot of attention and good reviews. Another good option seems to be the Generac inverter, especially if you are wanting to use a computer with it, because it has the electronic microprocessor for sensitive electronic devices such as computers.
